Elastic Adhesive Bandage Production EAB production integrates fabric preparation, adhesive coating, drying, rewinding, slitting, tension control, and individual packaging. The process can accommodate different fabric constructions, adhesive levels, widths, and roll lengths according to product specifications. Sports & Rigid Tape Production Production processes include substrate preparation, adhesive coating, drying, rewinding, slitting, and packaging for sports and athletic applications. Different substrate structures and adhesive systems can be selected according to the required strength, adhesion, breathability, and application. Medical Tape Production Our medical tape production capabilities cover paper, PE, non-woven, transparent, foam, and other commonly used substrates. Depending on the product, processes may include coating, laminating, perforation, rewinding, slitting, and final packaging.
Raw Material Preparation → Substrate Unwinding & Tension Control → Adhesive Coating → Drying & Curing → Laminating / Bonding → Rewinding → Slitting & Cutting → Printing / Customization → Final Inspection → Individual & Retail Packaging Different products use different combinations of these processes, allowing the same manufacturing system to support multiple product categories and SKU configurations.
Production begins with controlled handling of the base material. Depending on the product, substrates may include cotton, synthetic fabric, non-woven materials, paper, PE, foam, and other specialized materials. Key processes include: • Material unwinding • Tension control • Substrate inspection • Heat setting where required • Pre-lamination where required • Material preparation before coating
Adhesive coating is one of the most important stages in tape manufacturing. Our coating processes are configured according to the substrate and adhesive system used for each product. Production parameters can be controlled for: • Adhesive coating weight • Coating uniformity • Adhesive coverage • Bonding performance • Drying conditions • Product-specific coating patterns This allows different adhesive systems and coating requirements to be applied across our product range.
After coating, the material passes through controlled drying processes to remove moisture or solvents and stabilize the adhesive layer. Temperature and processing conditions are adjusted according to the adhesive and substrate specifications. Proper drying helps maintain: • Adhesive consistency • Stable bonding performance • Product appearance • Dimensional stability Batch-to-batch consistency
Coated materials are rewound into larger rolls before being processed into the required product formats. Our rewinding processes control: • Roll tension • Core positioning • Roll alignment • Winding tightness • Finished roll stability This provides a stable foundation for subsequent slitting and cutting processes.
Large rolls are converted into finished widths and lengths through slitting and cutting processes. Depending on the product, we can produce: • Standard rolls • vNarrow-width tapes • Wide rolls • Pre-cut strips • Perforated formats • Special-shaped products Precision cutting helps maintain consistent dimensions and clean edges across production batches.
Selected products can be customized with customer branding and product information. Customization options may include: • Product printing • Release liner printing • Paper core printing • Packaging box printing • Color customization • Batch and traceability information These capabilities allow us to support private-label and OEM programs from product production through final packaging.
To maintain an efficient manufacturing workflow, different production activities are organized into dedicated functional areas. Material Preparation Area Raw materials are received, inspected, stored, and prepared for production. Coating & Laminating Area Adhesive coating, laminating, and related processes are carried out using equipment configured for different adhesive and substrate combinations. Cutting & Converting Area Slitting, precision cutting, perforation, rewinding, and special-format conversion are completed according to product specifications. Packaging Area Finished products are individually packed, labeled, boxed, and prepared for shipment according to customer requirements. Quality Control Area Products and materials are inspected throughout the manufacturing process, with testing focused on key physical and adhesive properties. Finished Goods Warehouse Completed products are organized for storage, order preparation, palletization, and export shipment.
Roll Products Standard rolls can be produced in different widths, lengths, colors, materials, and packaging configurations. Jumbo Rolls Large-format semi-finished rolls are available for customers requiring downstream converting, repacking, or further processing. Pre-Cut Products Pre-cut tape formats can be produced for specific applications, reducing the need for customers to perform additional cutting operations. Printed Products Product surfaces and packaging components can be customized with branding, patterns, colors, and product information where applicable. Perforated Products Selected tape products can be processed with perforation patterns to facilitate tearing and application. Special Shapes Selected products can be converted into application-specific shapes according to the product design and tooling requirements.
Raw Material Inspection Verification of substrate, adhesive, dimensions, and incoming material specifications. Coating Inspection Monitoring adhesive application and coating consistency. Lamination Inspection Checking bonding and layer integrity where laminated structures are used. Roll Formation Inspection Checking roll alignment, winding condition, and stability. Slitting & Cutting Inspection Verifying finished width, length, edge quality, and dimensions. Final Product Inspection Checking appearance, packaging, labeling, and product performance according to the applicable specification. Depending on the product, quality testing may include: • Peel adhesion • Holding / shear performance • Tensile strength • Elongation • Recovery • Unwind force • Water resistance • Breathability • Dimensional accuracy • Color consistency • Packaging integrity
